The Origin!

Black Panther Karate Tai-Kyu-Do Martial Arts® is a traditional Martial Art, It is the art of open hand and bare foot self-defense. It is dating back over two thousand years. It is taught as an art rather than as a sport. It means the “way of the empty hand.” It is both a hard and soft style of karate. This means it uses strong, powerful techniques along with softer, flowing techniques. It is not only a martial art; it is rather a physical and intellectual activity designed to foster physical and mental well-being. It develops body coordination, control, self - Image, discipline, confidence and respect.

It is not unusual in the history of martial arts that once in a while someone will betray his master and that one who betrayed is once again betrayed by his pupils in the field of martial arts. This happens most often to people who do not have the exact philosophy and historical knowledge of the art.
I have been questioned many times about the history of Black Panther Karate Tai-Kyu-Do Martial Arts® about Grand Master Mr.Desigan background and what the Tai Kyu Do means, and also the meaning of Tai Kyu Do. I am aware of the importance and need of all this as a teaching aid.

"I hope it will help your progress and final goal in the martial arts. I personally recommend that the history of Tai Kyu Do as presented here be re-read several times in order that you may fully understand."

The history does not and never will include my neither personal opinions nor interpretations. All materials were derived from Grand Master theory and other authentic sources available.-->
Initially before the Tae Kwan Do and Tang Soo Do came into existence Tai Kyu Do Prevailed and it is said that these both arts have come from the students of Tai Kyu Do who started teaching this art in two new forms (Tae Kwan Do & Tang Soo Do).
